I got this made for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. I was going to do it for Christmas last year but I knew I needed to save up some money to get something of quality. I'm so happy with how this came out. It was the only picture I had of his late kitty where you could see his face and I knew it was blurry but I'm so glad that it worked because it ended up being appropriately disgruntled. The quality of the canvas is great and I'm glad that I added the frame because I'm not sure how I would have gone about attempting to frame it myself. I'm very pleased with C&P as a company, and I will likely invest in another piece (probably for my brother) down the road. :)

I got this for my parents - my mum laughed for a good 5 min when she opened it and my dad couldn't get over how cute/funny it was. This is our second pawtrait from Crown & Paw and we are, once again, absolutely delighted! There are two things I’m a tad disappointed with though… the first is that our mini dachshund has a severe cataract in his left eye, rendering that eye completely blind and the eye itself is white. It seems the artist tried to blend out the white, making his blind, white eye a very dark, almost black, gray in the portrait. The white eye is an endearing trait in our teeny weeny and we wish it had made its way into the portrait. The second thing is that our other dog, Potato the Pug, appears to be much smaller than the dachshund, even though in reality his head is about the same size. I requested in the edit that his head be enlarged a wee bit but they just couldn’t seem to do that, likely because they were trying to match up the size of the two dogs eyes from the photos provided. Potato’s bulgy, pug eyes are much larger than Coal’s little mini dachshund eyes. Overall, my two complaints are overshadowed by our motley old dogs portrayed so regally on our wall and we love it!

I had a good experience EXCEPT... I asked for one dog to appear larger than the other as he is 3x larger than the other dog, and I asked for the bigger dog to have his neck rolls hanging over the collar of the uniform as that's what the dog looks like in real life. I sent the image back twice for redesign and both times it came back to me for approval EXACTLY THE SAME and without changes. The image wasn't bad, it just wasn't accurate to how the dogs look in real life due to body size. Overall my family thought it was funny and we enjoy it. I just wish I had more time to keep sending it back, but I was running close to deadline of needing it and couldn't wait for it to be sent back a third time.
